Lea Wolf is an amazing Photographer (and Doula) that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Here is a sample of what we came up with for her brand. Check out her web site @ http://www.leawolf.com.
WHAT IS A DOULA?
“The word “doula” comes from the ancient Greek meaning “a woman who serves” and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after birth; or who provides emotional and practical support during the postpartum period.”
Now you know.
Here in Madiosn we breeders have fabulous support wherther birthing at home, in a birth center, or at the hospital, in part due to wonderfull ladies like the ones that make up the Madiosn Doula Collective.
Thanks for having me work on your logo MDC!
I am so moved to be a part of the solidarity movement in Wisconsin. I cry daily over the acts of support and kindness that have flooded my community. This will not go away. We are fighting for the rights of people to be valued over profits. It’s about the unions, it’s about health care, it’s about education, it’s about public lands, it’s about freedom from tyranny, it’s about free speech. We will not go away.
This feeling in Madison is amazing. Please, please join us.
Had a our big move this weekend, I love our new place, even with all of the east side apartment quarks! Now it’s nose to grind stone for the next few weeks and then the big show at the Monona Terrace. Still have lots to do but I’m trying hard to be like a squirrel……one nut at a time. Here’s a link to the web site for the show.
I’m thinking of quitting design school and going into something with concrete right and wrong answers. Really. One day I feel like some kind of design rockstar and the next I fall on my face. WTF. Maybe I could be an accountant or a banker?
I’m starting this blog to chronicle my last semester in school and my dive into the “real” world of design. It may take me a while to figure out this bloggin business, but I should get the hang of it before anyone starts reading it 9 (I hope)
